UNIGLOBE Travel International is a Canadian company defined by a passion for travel. UNIGLOBE was founded by award-winning franchise entrepreneur U. Gary Charlwood. Fluent in German, English and French and conversant in Spanish, Charlwood attended Southampton University on a scholarship before converting his part-time summer job as a tour guide into a full-fledged career in the travel industry. 

Charlwood opened the first UNIGLOBE travel agency in British Columbia in 1981. Today, UNIGLOBE has offices in 60 countries around the globe. Rooted in local dependability and with an entrepreneurial spirit, UNIGLOBE agencies and partners specialize in serving the unique needs of small and mid-sized enterprises, meetings and holiday travellers.
